Sudoku is still a growing worldwide trend. With your own Sudoku on your website, you offer your visitors a real added value. They stay on your website longer and see more ads. And visitors come back. This way you benefit from more advertising revenue and more returning visitors.

Technical requirements

A reverse proxy will be set up on the web server. With the Apache web server, this is done via mod_rewrite/mod_proxy in the .htaccess, with NGINX in the server configuration. We provide corresponding examples for setting up the reverse proxy. Furthermore, basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is required to integrate fonts and CSS files and, if necessary, to position the Sudoku with a div container.

Only HTML 5 with UTF-8 encoding is supported, which is the standard today.

The Sudoku itself works with all common current web browsers; outdated web browsers such as Internet Explorer are no longer supported.

Privacy

The HTML for the Sudoku is integrated directly into the website, all Javascript and CSS files are hosted locally. The api calls are forwarded to our server via a reverse proxy, so we only see the IP of the web server, not that of the user. This means that there are no calls from the user's browser to us or other third parties, so no consent is necessary.

Intuitive operation

It is very intuitive to use. When you click in an empty field, small auxiliary numbers appear that can be toggled with a single click and entered with a double click. Clicking on an entered number causes the auxiliary numbers to reappear. There are two tools: one to reveal the correct number directly and one to scan all fields based on the numbers entered and display solutions.

In touchscreen mode, auxiliary buttons appear to toggle the auxiliary numbers and enter the solution.

8 predefined Sudoku designs

The design is based on CSS variables, so it can be customized in any color. We offer 8 predefined CSS designs, just click on one of the thumbnails to get a preview of the respective design. The Sudoku here is original as we offer it, including the 2 links. The links themselves have no predefined CSS information, so they will adapt to the design of the respective website. The CSS for the Sudoku is encapsulated from the respective website CSS. The "blue-round.css" is the default design and will be used if no CSS variables are set.

Optional external function calls

The Sudoku can call additional functions when the user loads a new Sudoku, uses one of the tools or checks if everything is correct. This can then be used, for example, to trigger tracking events or to reload advertising when the user loads a new Sudoku.

We do not work together with:

Parties and political organizations, including associated/subordinate associations, groups and organizations.
Religions and religious organizations, including associated/subordinate associations, groups and organizations
Adult websites
Websites that work with agitation and/or false reports
Websites with extremely controversial social points of view
Private websites with no visitors
Websites at freehosters

The Sudoku must be an extension of the existing own offer, it must not be the sole content of the website. There should be at least 1000 visitors per month who visit the website voluntarily.

Each website will be checked and must be approved. In the meantime, regular re-checks of the websites will be carried out. We reserve the right to reject websites at any time without giving reasons and/or to deactivate/delete user accounts.

The Sudoku is offered as it is, there are no promises or guarantees. Of course, we do our best to ensure that it works smoothly, but we exclude any liability.

Multiple Sudoku may be used on a website, but they must all be created here individually. Sudoku may be used on subdomains, but the API URL must be set up on the main website. Exceptions can be made for understandable reasons by email.

When setting up Sudoku for customers, only the time required for the setup may be charged. There are no monthly fees for the Sudoku and the customer must be added to the team so that they are aware of these rules.

The Sudoku must be visible to search engines, listable in search results and the links must be allowed to be rated.
